PARC member and allies arrested at Free Tristan Rally

San Francisco---Four activists, including one PARC member and two East Bay Prisoner Support (EBPS) members, were arrested and charged with felonies following police brutality that occured at a rally in San Francisco on Monday, March 16th, in solidarity with Tristan Anderson.

Tristan Anderson is a Bay Area resident who was severely injured by Israeli Military Forces while standing in solidarity with Palestinians at a small protest in a Palestinian town earlier this month.

All four of the felony arrestees during Monday's demonstration in
solidarity with Tristan Anderson  are out of jail, healed up, in good
spirits and feel well supported by the community and the National Lawyers Guild.  They would like to thank everyone who showed up at the Friday, March 20 hearing and everyone else who called the jail, or showed support in other ways.  On Friday morning they had an arraignment hearing where they were assigned lawyers and given discovery.

The next court date is schedule for April 29 th, and will again be at 850 Bryant, in courtroom 12. They are hoping people will pack the court room again in order to show support and demand that the charges be dropped.
The NLG and legal defense team are asking that any witnesses to the arrests, people injured by the police or picture and video footage that is pertinent get in touch.(please don't send footage directly) Email:
