at CITY HALL (14th & Broadway), 3:00pm

Join us as we rally & picket,500 STRONG, to voice our opposition and solutions to the "gang" injunctions! We will also be sending representatives from North, East, and West Oakland to the City Attorney’s office to express our opposition to the injunctions and our proposals for alternative strategies to improve public safety.

People will be gathering at MacArthur, Fruitvale, and West Oakland BART stations from 2:00-2:30pm to leave as groups.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A hunger strike by the three Lucasville riot leaders has ended with state prison officials conceding to nearly all of the strikers' demands.
