Resources: North Carolina

PARC corresponds with and mails a directory of these resources to prisoners, their friends and family members. We are often the first point of contact for people to connect with prisoners' rights organizations, community organizations, prison literature and arts projects, family and visiting resources, health care and legal resources, parole and pre-release resources, and the prison abolition movement.

North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services (NCPLS) is a non-profit law firm. Since 1979, we have been dedicated to ensuring access to the courts for people incarcerated in North Carolina state prisons. NCPLS attorneys work to correct unlawful criminal sentences and advocate for safe, humane, and constitutional prison conditions. The organization is divided into three teams: Post-Conviction, Civil, and the Safe and Humane Jails Project. Serves people in North Carolina only.
